iba 2009 Exhibition's preperation process in which IBEXpo is taking place is continuing

iba 2009 will be organised between 03-09 October 2009 in Dusseldorf and IBEXpo took place in the bakery world meeting.

Before the press conference ,Hannover-Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Murat Demirtaş,Turkish Bakers' Federation Chairman Halil İbrahim Balcı and German Bakers' Confederation Chairman Peter Becker spoke about the condition of the sector.

Hannover-Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık A.Ş. which is the organiser of Bakery and Pastry-Making Machinery,Food Additives,Bakery,Cafeteria Equipments and Products Exhibition on 25-28 March 2010 at Istanbul Exhibition Center,speeded up the preparations and promotions. Most important part of these promotions take place on all of the important foreign exhibitions by setting up a stand. Accordingly IBEXpo will have a stand at the sectors most important exhibition IBA which will be organised between 3-9 October 2009 at Dusseldorf .IBEXpo Exhibition's stand will be on 10th hall E14 and will be the meeting point for our visitors from Turkey and also our countries promotion center for Bakery-Pastry industry.

IBEXpo Project Manager Hande Aygül and Sarmaşık Makina A.Ş Chairman of the Board Osman Toprak informed iba Project Manager Claudia Weidner about IBEXpo 2010 Exhibition.

In the previous days, iba's Turkey Promotion meeting in Hyatt Regency was organised with the participation of Chairman of the board of German Bakers' Confederation Dr.Eberhard Groebel,Chairman of German Bakers' Confederation Peter Becker and iba Exhibition Project Manager Ms. Weidner and also Hannover-Messe Sodeks Fuarcılık A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Murat Demirtaş and IBEXpo Project Manager Hande Aygül. At the meeting it was stated that 820 exhibitors from 40 countries around the world applied to participate in iba which will celebrate its 60th birthday this year. Project Manager Mrs.Weidner gave details about the exhibition.The event which is being organised triennially in Münih and Dusseldorf by turns is divided into raw material,production techniques and sales department.İba 2009 is aiming to offer its visitors wide range of products and service variations of raw materials,production techniques and sales department. On the field of raw materials,from grist to bakery materials,from additives to seasoning materials and all of the bulk and whole products ,refrigerating-protecting,sanitary and all kinds of equipments for cleaning,and the latest production technologies of energy efficient bakery and pastry machines will be presented in the exhibition.But in 2009 the focus will be on snacks,light food and cafeterias.

Turkish Bakers' Federation Chairman Halil İbrahim Balcı gave present to German Bakers' Confederation Chairman Peter Becker in memory of his Turkey visit.

Peter Becker: "In no other country, bread is eaten as it is in Turkey"
German Bakers' Confederation Chairman Peter Becker who spoke in the press conference started his speech by expressing the bread varieties in Germany and Turkey's championship on bread consumption.Becker also emphasized that dieticians recommend bread as an important part of daily nutrition and that bread is a cheap and healty nutrient.For the future developments on bakery product industry in Turkey he predicted:11,5 Million Tons in 2010,11,7 Million Tons in 2011,11.8 Million Tons in 2012 and 12 Million Tons in 2013.Becker also stated,"If only the best quality product is produced and expectance of the consumer is satisfied these numbers can be reached " Becker continued his speech by giving this information: "The investment on bakery has increased in the previous years.This can be clear when you take a look at the exportation numbers from other countries to Turkey.While it was 4,1 Million € in 2003,in 2007 it was 27,9 Million €.But the view point is more impressive.We are expecting a low increase in the numbers of pastry sales to be 12 million tons while it was 11.2 million in 2008.But the more important thing is the targeted pastry endorsement. We are estimating the number in 2008 16,4 million € to increase to 26,8 million € in 2013.The economic crisis which we are having all around the world will leave its mark. But crisis will be over sometime and we should be prepared for that time.

Dr.Eberhard Groebel:We prepared an extensive programme
German Bakers'Confederation Chairman of the Board Dr.Eberhard Groebel spoke after German Bakers' Confederation Chairman Peter Becker and gave information about contents of the exhibition.He said that at iba 2009 they will present the bakery technology,quality management and current viewpoints on marketing field and that all of the visitors will be able to use these information for their own firms.Groebel continued his speech with these sentences: " The German Professional Association Bakery Center" as the organiser of iba 2009 prepared an extensive informing programme. In the world scale of bakery industry,competition between firms show the direct connection to the producers - the employees -quality.The qualification of the employee is the first rule of the product's quality.
